I would like to thank everyone in our Cincinnati chapter for their continued support through partnership, membership, program attendance and donations of all kind to assist keeping the chapter financially healthy and a pleasure to be associated with. My goal will be the same as other leaders in the past, to offer quality educational programs, high-end speakers, facility tours, networking, fun socials and other opportunities to benefit our chapter and the professional Facility Managers.

The executive board and chairs will continue to search for the hot topics and trends of our nation’s business core. Our Student Development Chair and committee are working hard to come up with ways to grow the student membership and provide a co-op and hiring opportunity to assist future career growth.

I hope many of you can attend World Workplace 09 and enjoy another exciting educational experience that IFMA offers. The annual golf outing on October 6 at Maketewah Country Club is right around the corner. This is a great venue to play, and partial proceeds will benefit two worthy charities, Lighthouse Youth Services and Foundation of Compassionate American Samaritans. I encourage everyone to sign up early as we are accepting the first 128 golfers only. All donations and sponsorships are greatly appreciated. Also, the Partnership drive kicks off in September, so we very much appreciate any of our chapter partners to participate and help offset expenses, and allow us to continue to be healthy and relevant.

I am very much looking forward to leading the chapter over the next two years to continued success and growth, and thank everyone for their involvement and enthusiasm.
